Instructions to submit your abstract
Abstracts must be prepared as a PDF file for electronic submission via the Conference website. Proofread your abstact and make sure to follow the template and guidelines. We recommend that you read CMBE Publishing Policy.
- Download either of the following templates to prepare your abstract:
- MS WORD template with formatting instructions
- LaTeX template with formatting instructions
- If you are using the MS Word template, you will need to convert your abstract to a PDF file before submission. You can either use Adobe Acrobat to print to PDF, the Microsoft Office Add-in Save as PDF, or any open source PDF converter (such as PDFlite, virtual PDF printers, etc.). If you are using office applications such as LibreOffice or OpenOffice, they come with a feature to export files to PDF.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 31 JULY 2013
FINAL DEADLINE IS 30 AUGUST 2013.
Please note that the final acceptance of papers for presentation is conditional on one of the authors registering on or before 15 October 2013. Unless otherwise stated, submissions are limited to ONE presentation per registered participant. Registrants can however be co-authors on several papers.
To submit your abstract, please log in to the conference website (see bottom of page). If you have not registered yet, please follow this link to obtain your user name and password. Under Dashboard, choose 'Submit an abstract'. Please make sure that you enter all the fields on the submission form. You will need to indicate if your abstract is to be considered for a particular mini symposium (MS1-14), a standard session (SS), or for a poster presentation (P).
You should receive an automated confrmation. If not, or if you are unsure whether your abstract has been submitted or not, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Notification of acceptance will be given through the conference website. You will be able to access the reviewer's comments by logging in using the user name and password provided.
SUBMISSION OF A REVISED ABSTRACT: After review, and only If required, you will be able to submit a revised version of your abstract. Please follow the same guidelines and formatting instructions. At the time of submission, indicate the abstract ID number and the MS you wish to submit to.
The conference will be in English and all papers should be prepared in English.
