Computational and mathematical modelling applied to biological problems is a rapidly expanding research area with the promise of considerable implications on human health and wellbeing, supporting the development of appropriate diagnostic tools, new instrumentation and medical devices to enable better clinical outcomes.

The International Conference on Computational & Mathematical Biomedical Engineering (CMBE) aims at bringing together fellow researchers and academics, specialists of several disciplines, practitioners and graduate students with a common interest, to discuss the current state of the art of computational biomedical engineering research.

CMBE series started in 2009 in Swansea University, UK. The subsequent meetings were held at George Mason University, USA (2011), City University of Hong Kong HK SAR (2013), Ecole Normal Superieure de Cachan France (2015), University of Pittsburgh, USA (2017), Tohoku University, Japan (2019), Politecnico di Milano, Italy (2022), George Mason University, Arlington Campus, USA (2024) and Kobe International Convention Centre, Japan (2026).

CMBE publishes its proceedings in print (ISSN 2227-3085) and in online (ISSN 2227-9385) format. The complete CMBE online proceedings series is available to download here.
